Advertising Round-Up: Teletext Goes Behavioural, WPP Buys In Asia

By Robert Andrews - Fri 01 Aug 2008 03:42 AM PST

-- Teletext ads: Teletext is turning to behavioural targeting to improve its web advertising offering. It’s appointed Revenue Science to handle ads across Teletext.co.uk, InLuxury and StayInTheUK, Mad.co.uk says. It reckons it can make more money from advertisers that way, and it’s planned to share advertsing data with Associated Northcliffe Digital’s other sites.

-- WPP: Sir Martin Sorrell’s ad giant, which only yesterday bought its latest digital agency, this time in Russia, has this morning acquired yet another overseas unit. WPP bought Singapore-based design and brand consultancy services provider 10AM Communications for an undisclosed sum. From 10AM’s site: “No, we don’t start work at ten in the morning.” Release.
