Bragster Raises £1.8 million First Round For Online Prop Bets

London-based Bragster, a site for people to make proposition bets with each other, has raised a £1.8 million ($3.5 million) first round from Intel (NSDQ: INTC) capital. The site lets users dare their friends to do things like “eat a whole raw onion” or “do ten shots of Tabasco sauce.” Users can then upload video evidence of their accomplishment, collecting play money winnings that stands as evidence of how daring they are. The site has been around for a year, and claims 800,000 viewers. Release.
