By Robert Andrews - Thu 14 Jun 2007 05:32 AM PST

Danish media group TV2 has bought a stake in Copenhagen-based air fare comparison site Momondo. The size of the acquisition was not revealed but Momondo said would help it add destination guides and community features. As well as an internet pay-TV operation, TV2 Sputnik, TV2 operates five TV channels, a radio station and a book publishing arm. The pair aim to create Denmark’s largest travel community but face competition on several fronts in the dedicated flight prices segment. (Release).
