More on Emap: Digital Revenues Up 23 Percent; Breakup on Track

imageWe reported on Emap (LSE: EMA) results earlier today, and some further numbers on the digital side: its total revenues were up 23 percent...see the chart on the right. OF the total of 44 million GBP coming from digital, about 11 million GBP came from online and mobile revenues, the rest coming from digital broadcast and information sectors.

Guardian: Emap’s chairman, Alun Cathcart, said today that the company’s shareholders backed his plans to break up the business. He brushed off the threat from former Emap managing director Sir David Arculus, who said he aimed to oust him if the break-up fails to materialise.
