Five is building up its recently-formed digital media team. It has hired former publisher of technology magazine T3 and online site T3.com Chris Kerwin who steps into the newly minted role of digital controller. Kerwin will head up the commercial affairs of the broadcaster’s digital businesses, including VOD and online, reports Mad.co.uk. The channel has also appointed Scott Jeffrey as VOD editor, tasked with heading up the new VOD service. Jeffrey was formerly at digital advertising firm Adstream. Five is currently beefing up its online site, and has also hired three senior producers who are currently overhauling it for a relaunch in the next few months.
