By Robert Andrews - Tue 30 Oct 2007 12:58 PM PST

The Financial Times’ former director of online publishing, Nigel Pocklington, is leaving to become Hotels.com’s MD for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Pocklington had moved to a board strategy role at FT.com when Ien Cheng was named publisher and managing editor in June 2006 and had recently worked as CEO of Horsesmouth, an e-mentoring site. Hotels.com has 22 sites in the EMEA region in 13 languages. (Via release).
