Industry Moves: Setanta Sports Taps Stephen Michael For Newly Created Director Of New Media Role

Irish-owned broadcaster Setanta Sports has hired Stephen Michael, former general manager at LFC TV, the digital media arm of Liverpool Football Club. He steps into the newly created role of director of new media, where he will manage the distribution of Setanta’s content across the internet and on mobile devices. He will also be responsible for expand the broadcasters offering across the two platforms. Before his position at LFC TV, he was at Granada Media Group’s sport and interactive division, reports Media Week.
