Irish Times’ Free Site To Launch Monday

By Rafat Ali - Sat 28 Jun 2008 05:15 PM PST

Irish Times, which went subscription for its online site Ireland.com in 2003, is launching its free site this Monday...we reported on the planned changes earlier this month. The news site is being moved to a new website IrishTimes.com, instead of the current Ireland.com home.

From Irish Times’ own story: The changes announced today mark the start of an exciting programme of online development which, over the coming months, will see the http://www.irishtimes.com site enhanced with richer content in the form of pictures, graphics, audio and video. We will be developing content in areas of particular interest to our readers, which will allow them to interact better both with each other and with us on subjects of common interest.
