By Rafat Ali - Sun 15 Apr 2007 08:44 PM PST

ITN, the UK broadcaster which recently criticized BBC’s mobile TV plans, is launching its own ad-supported mobile TV service on UK operator 3, the first major free mobile TV service in the country, reports Guardian.
ITN On - the broadcaster’s mobile, radio and broadband division - will be providing clips covering celebrity feuds and pets and guides on cocktail-making, but users will have to provide details about themselves such as age and gender when they first sign up to the service.
