- O2 Launches Mobile Voucher Service For Newspapers:  O2 has started a mobile voucher service for newspapers. It follows an eight-month trial by The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Daily Mail (LSE: DMGT) in Kent, where 160 retailers used 700,000 vouchers in the system.

- Germany’s T-Mobile iPhone Sales Lagging? T-Mobile is reportedly selling less than 700 iPhones a day, a figure far off their own internal forecasts. T-Mobile had sold 10,000 units the first day it launched the iPhone, but Vodafone’s (NYSE: VOD) court case in Germany to stop T-Mobile from selling the iPhone exclusively may have damaged sales, despite being overturned.

- Microsoft Sells Ads On US MSN Mobile; Virgin Mobile UK Plans More Ads In 2008: Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) MD Graeme Oxby has indicated the MVNO plans to increase its mobile advertising next year. The advertisements will probably be banner ads and link sponsorship, reports Mobile News International.

- Orange MMS: Mobile data - including picture messaging, music downloads, and mobile gaming - is surging, accounting for 22 percent of network revenues since May at Orange, according to its Digital Media Index report (via The Guardian). Picture messaging was especially popular, growing 37 percent in the last six months, thanks to better cameras on phones, and easier ways to send pictures.
