NOTW Tries An Anaemic Pay-For Diet Site

By Robert Andrews - Fri 01 Feb 2008 01:59 AM PST

It seems the days of premium subscription content are not fully over. The News Of The World newspaper this Sunday launches Fabulous Diets, a weight-loss site featuring meal plans and weight tracking facilities, costing £2.99 a week. It’s allied to a new celebrity- and fashion-heavy magazine supplement aimed at women, Fabulous - a rare and tricky gender target for a paper so full of sport and titilation. There are many ways to cater for the growing female internet audience, but not only are several decent diet plan sites already out there - Fabuous has also missed the New Year resolution boat by a full month.
