Commercial radio news supplier IRN has signed a deal with the UK’s largest radio groups—Gcap, GMG, Tindle, Lincs and TLRC stations—to provide them with a breaking news video service on their websites. ITN’s multimedia division ITN On is supplying the feed of news, entertainment and sports video that the stations will receive for free in return for allowing advertising on their websites. The service rolls out on June 4 on 175 station websites, and will appear on all 250 by the end of the summer.
