Starting today users in the U.K. have free access – albeit limited - to YouTube via the Vodafone Live service, tech.co.uk reports. For starters users will be able to access 15 to 20 videos per day as part of a Best of YouTube service. According to Vodafone, this short list (chosen by the two companies) highlights the best YouTube has to offer in a made-for-mobile form. Vodafone is currently the only mobile operator in the U.K. to offer a YouTube service. Its free-to-view offer will be available until August 1. Vodafone has said that it plans to offer full access to the site in the near future, but is tight-lipped on the timeline and cost.
