WPP’s Group M Buys LaComunidad Viral Campaign Agency

Ad group WPP has bought another interactive agency, this time through its Group M communications arm. Group M has acquired Amsterdam-based internet marketing house LaComunidad, whose clients include KLM, MTV and eBay (NSDQ: EBAY), for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2003, LaComunidad focuses on the true interactive end of things, deploying its Vividot community photo service and ViralTracker real-time campaign technology. Release.
