Interactive TV advertiser YooMedia has purchased a 95.2 percent stake in Spanish internet TV provider Fresh Interactive Technologies. The UK-based YooMedia has also raised about £12.9 million ($26.1 million) from Spanish investment firm Kasei 2000 SL, intended to help it with its outstanding debt. The acquisition still has to meet the approval of the European Union’s Takeover Panel. If it goes through, the new company would take on the name Mirada. Neil Macdonald, managing director for YooMedia, will take on the post of COO of Mirada.
Separately, YooMedia also plans to sell YooMedia Dating Group Limited. Release (PDF)
