Earnings: Lycos Europe’s 2005 Losses Decline

Yes, Lycos Europe still exists, as a separate entity. Its 2005 revenues increased by 21 percent to EUR 125.5 million (vs. EUR 103.8 million last year) . The 2005 net loss diminished by 56 percent to EUR 20.2 million compared with last year’s EUR 45.5 million. It intends to become profitable this year.
Lycos Europe has local sites in Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland.
