Independent Sells Its Stake in iTouch For $129 Million

Independent News and Media, the Irish group which also own UK paper Independent, is selling its stake in iTouch Plc, one of the biggest mobile content providers in Europe and Asia, to Japanese company For-Side.com.

For-Side.com, which recently bought out two U.S. based mobile content companies (Vindigo and Zingy), is buying iTouch outright, in a deal valuing at 180m GBP ($344m).
