UK mobile network operator O2 UK has appointed Tanya Field as the new head of content development. IField will be responsible for O2’s content strategy across all its various platforms, including O2 Active, i-mode and Visual Radio.
Prior to this, she was at Discovery Networks International, where she was global senior VP for new media, strategy and development across all areas of the business.
Mad.co.uk: We missed this one last month: UK 3G operator 3 appointed former Endemol mobile head Morgan Holt to become director of media propositions. Holt will become director of media propositions at 3. Holt, due to leave Endemol this month, said he was joining 3 to “help it make the most of its relationships with the creative community”.
Meanwhile Endemol Mobile hired Samsung head of content Imogen O’Rorke to replace Holt as head of mobile.
