Kamera, the Swedish web and mobile TV firm, is producing three web TV channels for Norwegian magazine publisher Hjemmet Mortensen. The first of these, vimenn.com, launched Sept. 1 and partners the men’s print mag with a weekly circulation of 94,000. The model is a charge-per-stream basis that the publisher sees a very low risk, though they also need to attract enough users to make advertising viable. HM Interaktiv’s VP Espen Agdestein said online video is “exploding” though this is the first such deal Kamera have done with a magazine publisher rather than a news site. A typical package includes video content, a video player interface, hosting and an ad platform. Release
