By James Quintana Pearce - Mon 10 Oct 2005 12:10 PM PST

Vodafone GirlThere’s a couple of mobile initiatives announced today designed to teach people the rules and strategies of the great game of love and seduction…
Mobile2win has teamed up with fragrance maker AXE to put the Axe Unlimited Academy on mobiles. Apparently, the academy “helps one learn and master the Art of Seduction and make the journey from dud to Dude to get ahead in the mating game! The academy is divided into 3 semesters. Semester I, launched for the wireless world, has different subjects including Hottieculture, Shycology & Matematics imparting quality learning on the go.” There’s also a “tip of the day” feature...the two companies claim to have already received 30,000 registrations online and 10,000 via SMS.
The Lovers’ Guide is alsmo moving to mobile, launching its series of sex advice videos on the 3UK mobile network. The video clips are mostly 30-60 seconds long, and covera range of sex topics in a style described by one paper as “sexy, sensual, moral and responsible”. Interested viewers will have to prove they are over 18 before being able to access the guide via the shortcode 69321.
In a slightly different vein—less of a guide and more of a community site—Mowave, who has a deal with Planet Out to put Gay.com on mobiles, has announced the site will be launched on O2’s i-mode service. It’s currently on Vodafone Live and Orange...the new deal will mean the site will be available to 75% of mobile users in the UK.
